About Us
Heather’s Zen Den is a yoga studio founded with the purpose of growing the yoga community in our area. We are located in the revitalized East Gate Plaza in East Alton IL. The studio specializes in offering a warm and welcoming environment of Zen to the community with a variety of yoga classes for everybody. All body types and skill levels are welcome. The studio was founded in 2021 as a dedication to Heather’s brother. Heather’s Zen Den strives to be the destination for zen in the community.

We came across Heather’s Zen Den online while looking for class options for a bachelorette weekend. There were nine of us coming in from out of town so I reached out to Heather through her website. Her responses were prompt and helpful and she accommodated our date, time, and number of people without hesitation. We arrived to a fully prepared studio that smelled heavenly, signed our waivers, and got started right away. The class itself was perfect with lots of deep stretches and short strengthening moves. The teacher’s cues and instructions were helpful and we loved her use of positive affirmations and poetry throughout the class. She told us the “room had great energy” and we carried that quote with is the rest of the trip. The class was the perfect addition to our weekend and we would recommend Heather’s Zen Den again in a heartbeat!

Really enjoyed the class. Heather was really cool, funny, and friendly. The moves themselves gave me a real stretch and workout. I will definitely be going again.

If you are looking for a yoga studio that embraces the principles and philosophy of yoga look no further. The teachers are compassionate, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and encouraging. All of the teachers offer alternative poses if a pose is too difficult. The teachers are fantastic because they teach what they know and practice.
To find your Zen, you must attend classes at this studio.
